beautiful game of deception.

Metallics, glitter, and shimmer are amongst my favorite elements when it comes to fashion and design. Much to my suprise and joy, these design details have become quite the statement for this year’s collections. Looking through these collections gave the the inspiration of water marbling - the combination of beautiful organic prints in a array of glittery colors and magical shades. I took this idea and ran with it. Whipped out all the nail polishes that I own (which from these photos, you can see that I have a preference for the plums and violets) and started to drop them into a bowl of water. The outcome is beautiful, the colors swirled together to create whirlpools of pure brilliance.

I loved the result of my water marbling experiment and was instantly inspired to apply those organic patterns onto simple garments. I took dresses with simple silhouettes and transformed them by applying my prints on top. Another intriguing thought was applying the concept of tromp l’oeil to the garments; fooling the eye to see dripping liquid when in reality, it is just a flat print.

It's a beautiful game of deception.

can someone manufacture these for me, please?
