RE-CREATE: LUXE TUX

The weather is getting colder and colder each day. As an islander, I am not too fond of this shift in temperature. It's ironic how I love fall colors and layering clothes yet I hate the chilly weather. I guess the only thing that excites me about Autumn is that I can finally indulge in the act of wearing blazers.

Blazers are my absolute most favorite type of outerwear. I love and own blazers in a multitude of colors including the classic black, cream, and grey, and then a few more of the very-on-trend bright colored blazers. There is something special about blazers, you can never have enough of them. This classic garment can change so much just with subtle differences in lapel shape, silhouette, and shoulder structure.

A big trend for Fall 2011 is the Luxe Tux, the idea of wearing a white top with a classic tuxedo/blazer and then pairing them with trousers or knee-length skirts. A beautiful, feminine take on classic menswear.
