I visited the American Museum of Natural History over the highly anticipated Rosh Hashanah holiday. Although I am not religious and therefore have no excuse to miss school, I am not going to complain. I have been meaning to go to AMNH for the longest time, afterall, I do have an abnormally deep fascination with dinosaurs and prehistoric organisms.
Another exciting thing about visiting AMNH is that there is a new exhibition of the world’s largest dinosaur and their anatomy and habits. The moment I stepped into the exhibition space, I was transported back to a period where giant creatures roamed and ferocious beasts reigned Earth. It is breathtaking to see these magnificent fossils, their sheer size is overwhelming. I am simply transfixed by the structure of their bones; the horns and crests that extend from their bodies make these “terrible lizards” even more striking.
There is nothing on Earth that compares to these creatures, present day Earth that is. They hunted, fought, tore their weak enemies apart and devoured them. Such animalistic actions. Such cruelty and violence. The purpose of living was survival, nothing more. I cant even imagine that primal system existing in the modern world. Every man for himself. No compassion, only ruthlessness.

After this post, I'm sure you can now fully comprehend the extent of my love for dinosaurs. To me, they are not just something "cool" to read about as a child. They represent a world beyond our wildest imaginations, an era that no one can fully visualize or understand. It is their mystery that has captivated me for almost two decades.
I guess this also explains the title of my blog. It is a combination of the two most fascination things to me. Fashion - a constantly changing and evolving force of creative energy, and dinosaurs - the ferocious, fearless beasts that are forever shrouded in mystery. I want to be the fashion dinosaur, the fearless, fierce entity who isnt afraid to be creative and outspoken.
